Jets Night Out Official Contest Rules & Regulations

1. How to Participate
To enter the contest, complete an entry form provided (i) at our office, or (ii) on our website www.ghtaxes.ca, or (iii) mail us legibly printed on a 3 x 5 inch (or 7.5 x 12.5 cm) piece of paper your complete name, street address, city, province, postal code, email and telephone number to “Contest-No Purchase Necessary”, GH Tax & Bookkeeping Services Inc., 1-441 Carlton St, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 3A2.
Only original entry ballots provided by our office or hand drawn facsimiles will be eligible for entry into the contest. Photocopies or mechanically reproduced entries will not be accepted.
A maximum of ONE (1) entry allowed per person for the draw, regardless of the method of entry.
The contest is open from February 1, 2019 to 7:00 pm Friday March 15, 2019.
The contest prize consists of two (2) tickets in Section 120, row 13 to the March 28, 2019 7:00 pm Winnipeg vs New York hockey game at BellMTS Place and one (1) $100 gift card to Moxie’s. Only one (1) prize will be awarded. The approximate value of the prize is CAD$550.

2. Eligibility
All entrants must be individuals legally residing in Manitoba and who are the age of majority in Manitoba at the time of entry into the contest. GH Tax reserves the right to require proof of age and Manitoba residence prior to awarding any prize. If a minor is selected, the parent or legal guardian of the selected entrant must sign an affidavit in order for their child to be declared the winner but the prize will be issued in the parent or legal guardian’s name.
Employees, agents and representatives of GH Tax & Bookkeeping Services Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates, and its advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to win, nor are the parents, siblings and children of any such employee, agent or representative or any person with whom such employee, agent or representative is domiciled.

3. No Purchase Necessary
Only one entry per person allowed regardless of the method of entry.
Entrants may receive one (1) entry by legibly printing the entrant’s name, street address, city, province, postal code, telephone number, and email on a 3 x 5 inch (or 7.5 x 12.5 cm) piece of paper and mailing it to “Contest-No Purchase Necessary”, GH Tax & Bookkeeping Services Inc., 1-441 Carlton St, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 3A2. Your entry must be received at our office by the contest closing date and time.
Alternatively, an original ballot may be picked up at our office during regular business hours.
No Purchase Necessary entries may also be dropped off in person at our office during regular business hours until the contest closing date. Our office address is Unit 1 – 441 Carlton Street in Winnipeg.

4. Contest Draw
Draw will be held at our office in Winnipeg, Manitoba on March 16, 2019 at 12:30 PM from all eligible entries received. The winner will be determined by random drawing from all eligible entries received by 7:00 PM on the contest closing date of March 15, 2019. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

5. Award of Prize
Prize will be awarded only on verification by GH Tax and Bookkeeping Services Inc. that all contest requirements have been met by the winner. The prize must be accepted as awarded and no substitution, transfer, conversion or assignment of prize will be allowed; however, GH Tax reserves the right and discretion to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrant at the email address or phone number provided on the entry form. GH Tax will notify the winner within five (5) calendar days of the draw date and the winner will have two (2) calendar days from notification to accept the prize.
GH Tax is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify the winner. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within the above time, GH Tax reserves the right to void that entry and select another eligible entrant for the prize.
In order to be declared an official winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited skill-testing mathematical question without mechanical or other assistance. The selected entrant will be required to complete, sign and return to GH Tax a Contest Release Form.
If the selected entrant fails to complete, sign and return the Contest Release Form and/or provides an incorrect answer to the skill-testing mathematical question, GH Tax reserves the right to void that entry and select another eligible entrant for the prize. By completing, signing and returning the Contest Release Form, the entrant (i) confirms compliance with these Contest Rules and Regulations, (ii) releases and forever discharges GH Tax & Bookkeeping Services Inc., its affiliates and subsidiaries, and its advertising and promotional agencies from all claims, demands, damages, actions and causes of action arising or to arise by reason of the acceptance or use of the prize, and (iii) gives permission to GH Tax, at their option, to publish or otherwise use the entrant’s name, address, photograph, voice and comments, without compensation, in any publicity carried out by GH Tax and/or its respective advertising agencies.

6. Contest Rules
By entering the contest, entrants agree to abide by these Contest Rules and Regulations and the decisions of GH Tax & Bookkeeping Services Inc. which are final.

7. Winner’s Name
To obtain a copy of the winner’s name, send your request to: Winner’s Name-Night Out Contest, 1-441 Carlton Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 3A2. Requests must be received no later than thirty (30) calendar days after the contest deadline and must enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope.

8. Disqualification
GH Tax & Bookkeeping Services Inc. is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, or damaged entries. GH Tax is also not responsible for interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer or telephone transmissions or technical failure, jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions, or other error of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic.

Any person found tampering or otherwise trying to circumvent the rules or any aspect of the contest, as determined by GH Tax, in its sole discretion, will be disqualified. If disqualified for any of the above reasons, GH Tax reserves the right to terminate the entrant’s eligibility to participate.
In the event any portion of the contest is compromised by any virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of GH Tax, which in the sole opinion of GH Tax, corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper entry into the contest, GH Tax reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate the contest and to award the prize to an individual selected at random from the pool of entrants received up to the point of termination. In no event will more prizes be awarded than those listed at the beginning of this document.

9. Tax Information
Liability for any applicable taxes imposed by any government, if any, on any prize won is the sole responsibility of the winner of the prize.

10. Quebec Residents
Residents of the Province of Quebec are not eligible to enter and any entry received by such resident will be disqualified.

11. Applicable Laws
Each contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

12. Prize Disclaimer
GH Tax & Bookkeeping Services Inc. shall not be responsible or liable to entrants for any losses, damages or costs incurred as a result of entrants entering this contest or use of the prize won in connection with this contest. By participating in this contest, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless GH Tax & Bookkeeping Services Inc., its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, and representatives, and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with this contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.

13. Use of Information
The prize giveaway is a promotional effort to promote our company and services. By entering the draw, you agree to receive promotional information from us. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link in the email you will receive or by writing to us at “Remove from List”, GH Tax & Bookkeeping Services Inc., 1-441 Carlton Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 3A2. Alternatively, you may also drop off your request at our office during regular business hours. Please include your full name, complete street address, email and telephone number so that we may correctly remove your information. Your information will not be sold or shared with other parties.
